The technological measures to solve the springback of sheet metal stamping are as follows:

1. Correction of bending
Correcting the bending force will make the punching force concentrate in the bending deformation area, forcing the inner metal to be extruded. After being corrected, both the inner and outer layers will be elongated. After unloading, the springback trend of the two extrusion areas will be offset, which can reduce the springback.
2. Over bending
In bending production, because of elastic recovery, the deformation angle and radius of sheet metal will become larger, so the springback can be reduced by the way that the deformation degree of sheet metal exceeds the theoretical deformation degree.
3. Stretch bending
In this method, the tangential tensile force is applied while the sheet is bending to change the internal stress state and distribution of the sheet, so that the whole section is in the range of plastic tensile deformation. After unloading, the rebound trend of the inner and outer layers counteracts each other and reduces the rebound.
4. Local compression
Local compression process is to increase the length of the outer sheet by thinning the thickness of the outer sheet, so that the rebound trend of the inner and outer layers counteract each other.
5. Multiple bending
The bending process is divided into several times to eliminate springback.

6. Inner fillet passivation
Compress from the inside of the bending part to eliminate the springback of stamping. When the plate is U-shaped bending, because of the symmetrical bending on both sides, this method is better.
7. Changing integral drawing into partial bending
A part of metal stamping parts is bent and then drawn to reduce springback. This method is effective for products with simple two-dimensional shape.
8. Control of residual stress
In the drawing process, the local convex hull shape is added to the surface of the tool, and the added shape is eliminated in the subsequent process, so that the residual stress balance in the material changes, so as to eliminate the springback.
9. Negative rebound
The workpiece in stamping process tries to make the sheet produce reserved negative rebound. After the upper die is returned, the part reaches the required shape through springback
